Semi Precious Weapons from Phaze Rocks series:

The second Chris lays eyes on glamazon model Jason in a club, he knows he wants him.

To his great surprise, Jason wants him too.

In spite of being a model himself, Chris still feels like a gangly boy from Texas. After Chris sides with Jason’s frenemy Sebastian, Jason bolts and Chris realizes Sebastian isn’t all that he seems.

Will Chris be able to win Jason back or will he have to live with the regret of losing the one true thing he’d found in the glamorous and fake City of New York?

Sexy model boys all sexy and cute! You know you want to…

And yes, all of this editing is keeping me quiet :)

Handsome Julian Larson is a talented singer and dancer who performs in drag to make ends meet. So when his best friend needs a burlesque act at the last minute for a fireman’s birthday party, he calls Julian. There Julian dances for the birthday boy Trent Fitzgerald; a too good to be true heart throb who is too nice to keep a woman in his life. Falling hard for the leggy, blond singer–but believing that she’s a woman named Julia–Trent tracks Julian down to his apartment where Julian poses as “Julia’s” twin in a desperate, doomed ploy to win over the sexy firefighter. When Trent inevitably uncovers the truth, will it mean the end of Julian’s chances or the beginning of a new opportunity?

Says Tuberose:

There are both sweet moments and hot sex between Goldie and Jett, they respect and trust each other no matter what is thrown at them and always open with each other. The loveable characters with their devotion to each other and the rocker aspect make this a story I will certainly reread.

The review was 3.5 stars and mention the overabundance of dialog. I definitely hear that, and it’s something I’m giving the critical eye to in future manuscripts (rewrote a few things already.)

I appreciate honest reviews. They give me something to consider. While there are some criticisms that will always be “salt to taste,” on review I see their point. It’s all about improving.

Still, I’m happy with this book. These characters were a lot chattier than most (silly rockstars, so much to say) and I’m very pleased that someone would consider reading my stories not only once, but reread them.

Anyway, enough of my babbling, read the rest of the review.

And check out the book at Loose Id or buy for Kindle on Amazon.

Cover for Black Gold by Clancy Nacht and Thursday EuclidNow available through Loose Id, my book (coauthored with Thursday Euclid), Black Gold, a m/m story about star crossed rock stars, is available in multiple formats.

I’m so excited about this. It’s not just a novel, it’s a novel plus, meaning it’s kind of long because, you know, writing sexy bits and describing costumes takes a lot of words. Also, we explored the themes of coming out in the media, romance in the spotlight, and the evolution and changing of the music industry.

As with most things I write, there is a bit of political undertone. It’s a fantasy, of course, but I hope it makes people think.

And, you know, if you’re going to be protesting the TSA this week by refusing scanning and getting patted down, this will not only give you something to pass the time, but maybe make the groping more fun.

Mmm strangers in latex gloves groping your junk. That’s how everyone should start their Thanksgiving holidays.

Buy now. Not just for you, but for the security of America. Or something.

It’s here, it’s finally here! Here is the book cover for my  novel, co-written with Thursday Euclid, “Black Gold.” It’s coming out on Loose Id November 23rd. Gorgeous art by P.L. Nunn.

Billy “Goldie” Goldean is the biggest pop star in the world and he’s harboring a terrible, career-killing secret: he’s gay. Even with song titles such as “Astral Glider” and “Winking Brown Eye,” few question Goldie’s squeaky clean teen heartthrob status. That is, until Jethro “Jett” Black, an infamous womanizer and underground punk icon, names him in the pages of Rolling Stone magazine as the celebrity he’d most like to fuck.

After they hook up at an industry party, Goldie’s management dumps him, Jett’s exes come back to haunt them, and even Goldie’s mother makes a public plea for him to come to his senses. Can Goldie trust his untamed new lover, or will the pressures of fame tear them apart?

Another encouraging review for “A Certain Pressure in the Pipes” is up on Three Dollar Bill Reviews.

“I honestly laughed out loud when I read the blurb about the pleasuring machine and when introduced in the story, the scene is not only hot but very enjoyable. It’s funny, tongue in cheek (both cheeks!) and sets up some great lines between the men. Conrad’s sense of the absurd really makes the story fun to read.”

I’m very happy that the reviewer enjoyed the story and really seemed to “get” Conrad. It’s very exciting this story is doing so well because it was so fun to write. It came out of my wanting to experiment with the genre and reading books about Andrew Jackson and Abraham Lincoln at the time, so I felt fairly comfy with the atmosphere. And making up pervy inventions? Well, that’s just fun.

I’ve been kind of flying under the radar as far as reviews have been concerned so it was great to be surprised by this when it came up in my google alerts. I’m terribly excited, which is dorky, but then, I’m pretty excited any time anyone reads my stories to start with, so there you go. I’m a dork. We all knew that.

“A Certain Pressure in the Pipes,” my Steampunk, m/m erotica story received a lovely review at Seriously Reviewed:

“A Certain Pressure in the Pipes was a surprise for me. I haven’t read much in the Steampunk genre and after reading this story, I’ll be picking up more. Historical meets futuristic. Add in some hot man on man action and campy humor and you have a story that I couldn’t put down.”

Where to buy

You know, moreso than I often am. I’ll be on Beth Wylde’s group for a day sponsored by her and Noble Romance promoting Gay Pride and hawking some stuffs tomorrow, June 20. I’ll be around most of the day CST. They’re calling it a chat, but let me assure you, it’s emails on the group. I found it confusing anyway. I’ve tried to go to a couple of these kinds of events all logged in on YIM and no one was anywhere.

Anyway, there are prizes and stuff and I’ll be giving away a book or two and sharing excerpts for my new m/m Steampunk story that’s supposed to be out June 28 on Noble Romance. I’m pretty excited about it and am doing interviews and podcasts and all of that fun stuff, so I’m sure you’ll be seeing all of that eventually. You can hear my strange take on the world and politics and world events.

Speaking of, if you follow my twitter you would’ve seen the exciting day in celebrity gossip. I’m not normally one to follow it, but there were bombs, gangrene, and kidnappings!

George Clooney says, “This is not the first bomb I’ve experienced.”

One year ago, Dean Winters died. But he feels a lot better now.

Kidnapped and forced to do drugs. Sounds like a party of three.

I’ve taken to microblogging more than anything else lately. I guess all my thoughts that go over 140 characters are going into stories.

I hope to see you all tomorrow.

Theo works day in and day out at the office, the lone live manager of the zombie crew. Then a new worker comes in, and Theo begins to suspect that the employee might actually be alive—because there’s no way Theo could find himself irresistibly and frighteningly attracted to a zombie.

This is another of those stories that I had sort of a hard time placing, but I persevered, just needing the right publisher and the right theme. It’s actually a really sweet story and no undead people are molested. And, as always, sexy mansex is included.

“A Certain Pressure in the Pipes,” my m/m Steampunk romance, will be published by Noble Romance June 28.

Just a little not to let you know that I’ve posted a NSFW BDSM story titled “All I Need” in my free reads area. I’ve done a little reorganizing again (because what’s the fun without a little chaos?)

This allows for subnav so that’s easier for me to deal with as far as nesting information and feeling like people can find it.

Excerpts are also free things you can read, but you have to pay for the whole thing.

The Free Reads are whole stories, but they’re generally just short.

I’ll add another next week, I think and maybe another after that. We’ll see.

I’m working on a podiocast, we’ll see how that goes!
